About Grace Baptist Church
Grace Baptist Church of Chambersburg is a confessional Reformed Baptist congregation rooted in the 1689 London Baptist Confession of Faith. Established in 1969 as a Bible study and formally organized in Chambersburg in 1971, the church has grown to occupy a debt-free building constructed in 1986 on the north side of town, with an addition completed in 2010. The church is known for its Bible-believing, gospel-preaching ministry and has been missions-minded from its inception, supporting missionary work globally and establishing several local community ministries including Pregnancy Ministries Inc., the Biblical Education Center, Bible Release Time, and Providence Christian Academy. Under the current pastoral leadership of Craig L. Harris, a Westminster Theological Seminary graduate, Grace Baptist continues to emphasize the doctrines of God's sovereign grace and seeks to make the Gospel of Jesus Christ known throughout the community and beyond.
