East Stroudsburg United Methodist Church is a welcoming Methodist congregation located in the Pocono Mountains region of Pennsylvania. The church is committed to serving both its local community and the wider world through ministries including overseas missions, disaster relief, a medical supply closet, and free community meals served from the church kitchen. ESUMC offers two Sunday worship services—a traditional service at 8:30 a.m. and a contemporary service at 10:45 a.m.—along with programs for children and youth, including infant and toddler nursery care during services. The church actively invites visitors to participate in worship, small groups, and volunteer opportunities while building connections with neighbors through monthly Fourth Friday Food & Fun community events and other outreach initiatives.

Dress Code: At ESUMC, you'll find a wide variety of attire from jeans and t-shirts to business casual clothing, so wear whatever you feel comfortable wearing. Service Format: Two Sunday worship services are offered—traditional at 8:30 a.m. and contemporary at 10:45 a.m., with a combined service at 10:00 a.m. on months with five Sundays. Communion is offered on the first Sunday of each month during both services as an open communion for all who feel led to participate. Visitor Tips: Arrive 10 minutes early if using the nursery. Holy Grounds Café offers complimentary refreshments and coffee in the Fellowship Hall prior to services. Stop by Oberholtzer Hall adjacent to the Sanctuary to speak with the Welcome Team. Parking is available in the church-owned lots to the left and behind the building, and metered spaces are free on Sundays. The recently renovated elevator is located directly behind the church.
