About Holy Trinity Lutheran Church
Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, established in 1868, is the first church in Ephrata and has been serving the community for over 150 years from its current location on East Main Street. The congregation celebrates traditional Lutheran liturgies and sacraments while maintaining a strong commitment to outreach and service both within the church and throughout the community. Led by Pastor Mark R. Luscombe since 2019, Holy Trinity strives to recognize and celebrate the presence of Christ in the world. The church welcomes visitors with meaningful worship, friendly people, and inspiring music in a comfortable setting where members of all ages, cultures, and backgrounds come together to explore their faith and serve others.

Dress Code: No dress code—wear what feels comfortable, whether formal or casual. Service Format: Liturgical Lutheran worship on Sundays at 9 AM and Thursdays at 7 PM, including Holy Communion at each service, with hymns, Bible readings, a sermon, prayers led by congregation members, and a predictable pattern that varies throughout the year. Visitor Tips: Ushers provide a worship bulletin that contains the entire service; hymns not in the bulletin are in red hymnals in front of you; guests will be greeted but not singled out; children of all ages are welcome in worship; and an elevator is available through the glass doors on the left side of the building for accessibility.
