About Elevate Church
Elevate Church is a non-denominational congregation in Erie, Pennsylvania, founded in 2012 by Pastor Colby and Kristen Atkins with the mission to help people far from God reach their full potential in Christ. Beginning as a portable church at Harding School with over 400 attendees at its first service, the church established a permanent home in December 2015 at a renovated location near Erie's mall. Under the leadership of Pastor Will Law, who became Lead Pastor in August 2024, Elevate has grown to serve thousands of attendees on weekends while maintaining a welcoming environment for spiritual exploration and faith development. The church emphasizes creating spaces where visitors feel wanted and valued, with a focus on community, discipleship through groups, and youth ministry. Elevate's approach centers on practical faith and helping people discover their purpose and potential through a relationship with Jesus Christ.
