About North Parish
North Parish is an Episcopal parish serving Northern Schuylkill County through two congregations: Holy Apostles Episcopal Church in St. Clair and Saint John’s Episcopal Church in Ashland. Formerly a mission parish in the Diocese of Bethlehem, it is now a self-sufficient parish with one vestry and one treasury. Its early clergy included the Reverend Clifford Carr as first rector and the Reverend Gockley as assistant rector. The parish’s shared structure connects two church communities while maintaining their presence in their respective towns.
