Daniel McLean, with roots tracing back to services held in Shank's Tavern and a pitched tent before establishing its current brick building in 1867. The church remains committed to its founding mission of revitalizing the community by offering new life in Christ to the lost and hurting, demonstrated through active ministries including support for foster parents, food collection initiatives, partnership with The Good Shepherd food pantry, and back-to-school backpack programs for local children in need.
