About Beloved Disciple Catholic Church
Beloved Disciple Parish is a Catholic community serving Grove City and the surrounding area through two worship locations: Beloved Disciple in Grove City and St. Michael the Archangel in Emlenton. The parish is called by baptism to worship God through liturgy and the sacraments, serve the community, and actively spread the Gospel. With weekend Masses on Saturday and Sunday mornings, weekday celebrations, regular confession times, and Eucharistic adoration, the parish offers frequent opportunities for spiritual nourishment. The community emphasizes hospitality and welcomes newcomers, visitors, and long-time parishioners to join them for Mass and become part of their parish family. In addition to regular liturgy, the parish provides faith formation, Bible study, youth programs including vacation Bible school, and various lay ministries such as the Knights of Columbus, Legion of Mary, and St. Monica Prayer Group.

Dress Code: Although the Catholic Church has no formal dress code for Mass attendance, there is an unwritten expectation to dress with respect, honor, and reverence for the Real Presence of Our Lord. Service Format: Catholic Mass follows a structured liturgical format with periods of sitting, standing, and kneeling; non-Catholics are welcome to observe and participate to the extent they feel comfortable, with the exception of receiving Communion. Visitor Tips: Arrive early to find parking (available in front and beside the church at Beloved Disciple, and along Chestnut Street or in parking lots below the church at St. Michael's); hearing assistance devices are available in a basket at the left rear of the church nave at Beloved Disciple; children may sit with their family or in a cry room at the back right of the nave; restrooms are located in the gathering space at Beloved Disciple and in the basement at St. Michael's.
