About Saint Peter's Episcopal Church
Saint Peter's Episcopal Church in Hazleton, Pennsylvania has served its community since 1865, when the parish was formally organized under the leadership of Reverend Henry S. Getz. The congregation gathers in a historic building constructed in 1865, enriched with original stained glass windows and an Aeloian Skinner organ installed in 1937. Saint Peter's welcomes newcomers and visitors into a caring Christian community centered on sharing God's love, compassion, justice, and mercy. The parish invites people to experience the living body of Christ and to join in fellowship over coffee hour following worship, where visitors are encouraged to introduce themselves to church leadership.
