About Buckingham Friends Meeting
Buckingham Friends Meeting is a vibrant Quaker congregation founded in 1720, located in Lahaska, Pennsylvania, in the heart of Bucks County. The meeting worships in a building designated as a National Historic Landmark, which has served as a model for Friends meetinghouses throughout the region and the United States since 1768. Every First Day (Sunday) at 10:30 AM, the community gathers for Meeting for Worship, with First Day School offered for children after the first 15 minutes of worship. Worship is followed by fellowship and refreshments, and the meeting frequently hosts guest speakers and enrichment programs. Led by a clerk rather than a pastor, Buckingham Friends Meeting welcomes visitors to seek the Light of God with the community and also offers concurrent Zoom participation for those unable to attend in person.
