About McKeesport Presbyterian Church
McKeesport Presbyterian Church worships in McKeesport, planted on the corner of Versailles and Union Avenues. The congregation was formed in 2009 through the merger of Central Presbyterian Church and downtown Immanuel Presbyterian Church, bringing together two Presbyterian communities in the city. Rev. Michael Stanton serves as pastor and joined the staff in October 2021. The church has a long-running commitment to local outreach, including Ventures in People, an after school program begun in the late 1980s, along with twice-monthly food distribution and summer lunches for children.
