About Millerton Wesleyan Church
Millerton Wesleyan Church was founded in the summer of 1972 when several families began meeting at the home of Bernie and Marion Draper with the goal of establishing a Wesleyan presence in the Millerton area. Pastor Harry Barrigar accepted the call to serve as the pioneer pastor, and the congregation held its first official service on September 24, 1972, at the Millerton Fire Hall. A church building was constructed beginning in June 1973, and the congregation moved into their new facility on October 7, 1973. Over the decades, the church has been served by a succession of dedicated pastors and continues to be an active part of the Millerton, Pennsylvania community. The church maintains weekly Sunday services, offers various ministries throughout the year, and emphasizes prayer and mission work as central to its faith community. Visitors are welcome to explore the church's programs and connect with the congregation.
