About Millville Friends Meeting
Millville Friends Meeting is a historic Quaker congregation located in Millville, Pennsylvania, first established in 1795 with the current brick meetinghouse constructed in 1847. The meeting welcomes all people, including LGBTQIA+ individuals, and emphasizes that a spark of the Divine exists in all people. Worship at Millville Friends centers on silent waiting for the Spirit to guide, though any member may speak if moved to share a spiritual message. The community offers not only weekly meetings for worship on Sundays but also educational programs, a children's program twice monthly, adult discussion sessions, and spiritual care through committees that support members during life transitions. The meeting strives to build strong bonds through worship, discernment, service, and action in the world, welcoming families and inviting visitors to become part of their caring spiritual community.
