About City Rescue Mission
City Rescue Mission is a faith-based ministry founded in 1911 with a rich evangelical history serving western Pennsylvania. The organization exists to meet the physical, emotional, relational, and spiritual needs of hurting people in the community through gospel-centered programming. The Mission operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, offering hot meals, shelter, and spiritual guidance to guests in need. Chapel services are held daily and are open to both the community and shelter guests, providing opportunities for worship and Bible study. The Mission is committed to modeling Jesus Christ through excellent, relevant, and personal services that lead to changed lives, funded entirely through private donations with high standards of financial accountability.
