About St Martin Of Tours
St. Martin of Tours is a Catholic parish in New Hope with roots in the earliest Catholic mission in Bucks County, established in 1744 by Father Schneider, a Jesuit missionary. The present church was built and consecrated in 1885, and its interior was fully renovated in the early 1960s under wood craftsman George Nakashima. The parish now includes more than 1,100 families and offers children’s ministry and a youth group. Newer parish facilities opened in December 2000, followed by the Parish Life Center school in September 2001. The parish is located on 10 acres off PA Route 179, adjacent to the CVS shopping center.
