About Bethany United Methodist Church
Bethany United Methodist Church in Palmyra, Pennsylvania, has served its community since its founding in 1873 as Zion Chapel under the Evangelical Association. The church exists to glorify God by making, maturing, and mobilizing disciples for Jesus Christ, and remains part of the Eastern Pennsylvania Conference of the United Methodist Church. Each Sunday, the congregation gathers for Sunday School at 9:30 a.m. followed by worship at 10:30 a.m., where they sing hymns, hear Scripture, and listen to sermons led by Pastor Dave Williams. The church welcomes visitors to experience their worship in person or to watch services streamed on Facebook.
