About Sozo Communities
Sozo Communities is a missional church network based in Penndel, Pennsylvania, consisting of house churches called Missional Action Groups that meet weekly in homes throughout the Philadelphia area. The church emphasizes discipleship and church planting, with the belief that every Christian is called to be a missionary. Members gather for weekly dinner and training meetings in their local groups, then come together for a Sunday worship celebration service at 4:30pm. The community was founded on the conviction that radical Christian living involves orienting one's life around Jesus's mission, and the church operates as part of the Converge Worldwide Association of Churches and other missional movements.
