Originally established as a union church serving both Reformed and Lutheran communities, the church became part of the United Church of Christ denomination in 1957. The current stone building, constructed in 1853 and enhanced with significant renovations over the decades, stands near Lake Nockamixon and houses an extensive cemetery with burials dating back before the Revolutionary War. The congregation is dedicated to preparing the way for God's reign through gracious love, justice, reconciliation, and peace, welcoming all people regardless of background, identity, or life circumstance to share in community worship and service.
