What to Expect at the Church of Christian Compassion in Philadelphia

Dress Code: The Church of Christian Compassion has a casual and welcoming atmosphere. Feel free to wear whatever makes you comfortable - you'll see people dressed in everything from suits and dresses to jeans and t-shirts. The focus is on worshiping together, not outward appearances.

Service Format: Our weekly services typically last around 1.5 hours. The format includes:

- Uplifting music and worship led by our talented praise team - A relevant, Bible-based sermon from our pastor, Rev. Herndon - Time for prayer, both corporate and individual - Opportunities to connect with the community through announcements and fellowship

Tips for Visitors: - Arrive a few minutes early to find a seat and get oriented. Ushers are available to help direct you. - Feel free to participate as much or as little as you're comfortable. There's no obligation to stand, sing, or pray out loud. - Check out the Welcome Center in the lobby to pick up a visitor packet and talk to a friendly host who can answer any questions. - If you have children, our vibrant children's ministry provides age-appropriate programming during the service. - After the service, stick around for refreshments and a chance to meet the pastor and other members of the congregation.
