About Saint John's Evangelical Lutheran Church Office
Saint John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Pittsburgh's Perrysville neighborhood has served the North Hills community since its founding in 1867, originally established to serve German Lutheran residents near Perry Plank Road. The congregation is a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and remains dedicated to worship, proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and Christian education. Under the leadership of Pastor Elizabeth Rheinfrank, who began her call in January 2024, the church emphasizes building a community where everyone can flourish and discover their spiritual gifts. Saint John's offers worship services on Saturday evenings and Sunday mornings in the Sanctuary, along with online options through their YouTube channel for those unable to attend in person.
