Swissvale Baptist Church is an Independent Fundamental Baptist congregation located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, just outside the Squirrel Hill Tunnels and approximately 7 miles from downtown. The church is dedicated to glorifying God through traditional worship that honors biblical teaching and community service. Swissvale Baptist offers Sunday School for all ages at 10:00 AM, a morning worship service at 11:00 AM with hymns and biblically based choruses accompanied by piano and organ, and an afternoon Bible study service at 5:00 PM. The church also holds Wednesday evening Bible study and prayer meetings at 6:30 PM, along with a youth group for grades 6-12. Pastor Mark E. Strangman leads the congregation in preaching from the King James Version Bible, and the church welcomes all visitors to experience their services, which are also live-streamed on Facebook each Sunday morning.
