About Renewed Spirit Church
Renewed Spirit Church is a welcoming Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) congregation located in downtown Reading, Pennsylvania, formed in 2022 through the merger of four historic Lutheran churches—Grace, Holy Spirit, St. John's, and St. Luke's—that together bring over 500 years of ministry to the community. The congregation is driven by a mission to serve neighbors locally and globally, offering regular Sunday worship at 10:30 a.m. and special German-language services on the first Sunday of each month. Beyond worship, Renewed Spirit actively engages the community through a monthly food pantry serving approximately 150 families, a seniors ministry, children's programs, and other mission initiatives.
