What to Expect as a First-Time Visitor to Riverview Christian in Reading, PA

Dress Code: At Riverview Christian, we want you to feel comfortable and free to worship, so there's no formal dress code. You'll see a mix of styles, from casual jeans and t-shirts to business casual attire. The most important thing is that you come as you are.

Service Format: Our Sunday service starts at 11:00 am and typically lasts around 60-75 minutes. The service begins with a time of contemporary worship led by our praise team. This is followed by a message from one of our pastors that aims to provide practical, Bible-based teaching and encouragement.

We also have a kids ministry called Riverview Kids that runs concurrently with the main service. Children are welcome to attend the first part of the service with their families before being dismissed to their age-appropriate classes.

Tips for Visitors: - Arrive a few minutes early to allow time to park, find a seat, and get settled. - Feel free to sit anywhere - there's no reserved seating. The ushers can also help you find a good spot. - Participate as much or as little as you feel comfortable. You won't be singled out or put on the spot. - Stop by the welcome desk in the lobby if you have any questions or need assistance. The volunteers there are happy to help. - Stick around after the service to enjoy some refreshments and meet the pastors and other members of the Riverview family.
