About St Michael's of The Valley Chr
St. Michael's of the Valley Episcopal Church has been a welcoming presence in Rector, Pennsylvania since 1949, celebrating the faith and practices of the Episcopal Church with a blend of traditional liturgy and a relaxed, approachable atmosphere. The church describes itself as a joyful worshipping community that combines centuries of Christian tradition with contemporary hospitality, offering services at 8:00 AM and 10:30 AM on Sundays, with the later service also available via livestream on Facebook and YouTube. Beyond weekly worship, St. Michael's engages its congregation and community through adult Christian education, children's Sunday school during the school year, Holy Hikes, a food pantry partnership, and other outreach initiatives. Led by Rector Marjorie Bevans, the church emphasizes that visitors, newcomers, and those seeking a faith community are always welcome, with staff available during office hours to answer questions and help people connect.
