About Immaculate Heart of Mary Convent
The Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, founded in 1845, continue their mission of joyful service and Gospel proclamation from their convent in Springfield, Pennsylvania. The community of over 500 sisters spreads across North America and South America, dedicating themselves to Catholic education from pre-K through college, as well as catechetical, pastoral, hospital, and prison ministries. Their charism emphasizes compassion for all God's people, with sisters engaged in literacy instruction, adult spirituality programs, care of the infirm and elderly, retreat work, and campus ministry. The IHM community strives to live in the spirit of joy, simplicity, warmth, and hospitality, offering their talents to strengthen Gospel values and serve those in need.
