About Saint John Xxiiiparish Center
Saint John XXIII Parish is a Roman Catholic community in Tamaqua, Pennsylvania, serving the Schuylkill County area within the Diocese of Allentown. Formed in 2015 from the merger of two local parishes, the church is currently twinned with St. Richard's in Barnesville and is guided by Sacred Scripture and the authentic teachings of the Catholic Church. The parish emphasizes worship, evangelization, discipleship, and service, welcoming disconnected Catholics and unchurched families to grow together as disciples. With offerings including youth and adult formation, various ministries, eucharistic adoration, and community outreach programs, Saint John XXIII seeks to announce the Good News and build a vibrant faith community dedicated to loving God with heart, mind, and soul.
