About St George Church
St. George Maronite Church in Uniontown, Pennsylvania is a welcoming community of apostolic Christians founded in 1927 by Lebanese Maronite immigrants seeking to preserve their ancient faith tradition. The parish is committed to sharing the fullness of the Gospel and living the richness of the Syriac Maronite tradition through worship, charity, and striving for personal and communal holiness. Led by Rev. Father Aaron J. Sandbothe, the parish welcomes visitors searching for a new spiritual home and strives to offer a traditional witness to the Catholic and Apostolic Faith under the patronage of Saint George and the Syriac Fathers in the Laurel Highlands of Southwest Pennsylvania.
