About Christadelphian Ecclesia
The Pittsburgh Christadelphian Ecclesia, meeting in Verona, Pennsylvania, is an independent Bible-centered community of disciples united by shared faith in Jesus Christ and the Kingdom of God as revealed in Scripture. The ecclesia traces its heritage to John Thomas's preaching around 1850 and is part of a worldwide fellowship of over 1,800 Christadelphian congregations spanning 53 countries. Members, many of whom represent multiple generations of Christadelphian faith, gather for simple worship services centered on prayer, Bible reading, exhortation, the memorial service, and hymns. The congregation operates without paid clergy or hierarchical leadership, instead functioning as a lay community where members collectively carry out all activities and work. Visitors are warmly welcomed to attend services and learn more about Christadelphian beliefs and the biblical hope of God's Kingdom on earth.
