About United Methodist Childrens Center
The United Methodist Children's Center in West Chester, Pennsylvania has served the community for more than 30 years as a ministry of the West Chester United Methodist Church, providing affordable, quality childcare and Christian education since 1986. The center creates a safe and nurturing environment where children develop interpersonal, academic, and life skills within a Christ-like community. Operating Monday through Friday from 7 am to 5:30 pm, the center welcomes families of diverse backgrounds and is committed to strengthening both children and their families through its extended family approach. The parent church offers two Sunday worship services—a traditional service at 8:45 am featuring hymns and organ music, and a contemporary Worship Café at 11 am with praise music and a relaxed fellowship setting. Sunday school classes for all ages are available between services, and the church maintains an active music ministry including choirs, handbell ensembles, and a worship orchestra.
