What to Expect at Reading City Church

Dress Code: There's no need to dress up at Reading City Church - come as you are! You'll see a mix of casual and business casual attire. The focus is on creating a welcoming environment, not fashion.

Service Format: The Sunday service typically lasts around 75 minutes and has the following flow:

- Worship Music: The service opens with 20-25 minutes of contemporary worship led by the church band. Feel free to sing, clap, or just listen.

- Announcements & Offering: The pastor will share upcoming events and ministries. Offering baskets are passed, but visitors are not expected to give.

- Bible Teaching: The main sermon is a 30-40 minute practical, Biblical message. The pastors aim to make the message relevant and applicable to daily life.

- Response Time: The service closes with a time for personal reflection and response to the message.

Tips for First-Time Visitors:

- Arrive a few minutes early to find parking and get settled.

- Pick up a welcome packet at the info booth to learn more about the church.

- Sit wherever you'd like - there's no assigned seating. The front and middle sections tend to fill up first.

- Don't feel obligated to participate in the offering or communion (if served that day).

- Children's ministry is available for infants through 5th grade during the service. You can check your kids in at the kids' check-in area.

- After the service, stop by the welcome center to introduce yourself and get any questions answered. The pastors and volunteers are excited to meet you!
