Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, founded in 1845, is a historic brick congregation located in Wexford, Pennsylvania, in one of Allegheny County's older settlements. The church traces its roots to Reverend Michael Schweigert, who organized area Lutherans into a faith community that has endured for nearly 180 years, cherishing both historic traditions and the contemporary mission of spreading Christ's good news. Today, Trinity is led by Pastor Larry Kemp, who brings over 25 years of ordained ministry experience and a focus on faithful service and addressing community needs. The congregation emphasizes learning, living, and loving the way of Jesus Christ through worship, service, and study, inviting all to use their gifts to share God's love. Trinity offers two summer worship opportunities: a traditional Sunday service at 10 AM and an abbreviated Wednesday evening service at 7 PM. As a member of the Southwestern Synod of Pennsylvania in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, Trinity connects to one of the largest Christian denominations in the United States.
