About St Aloysius Rectory

St. Robert Bellarmine Parish, located in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, welcomes visitors to a thriving Catholic community with roots dating back to 1899 when St. Aloysius Church was founded by dedicated faithful. The parish serves approximately 2,200 parishioners across 1,066 families and is centered on the stunning Gothic architecture of St. Aloysius Church, dedicated in 1927, featuring ornate woodwork, mahogany pews, and beautiful Munich stained-glass windows. The community gathers around the Eucharist, Word, and Sacraments while embracing a mission to reach out to those in need as joyful stewards of God's gifts. In 2010, the parish united with St. Casimir's to form St. Robert Bellarmine Parish, continuing its legacy of preaching the Gospel and serving the Catholic faithful of South Wilkes-Barre and Hanover Township.
