The church has a rich history of community service, having developed ministries including hospital visitation, prison ministry, evangelistic outreach, and support for homeless individuals. Under the leadership of Pastor Melvin R. Baber, the church moved to its current home at 401 East Market Street in 2009 and has focused on spiritual growth through Bible study classes, youth programs, and a trained ministerial team.
