About Holy Cross Church
Holy Cross Catholic Church has served the Youngwood community since 1917, when Fr. Germain Ball celebrated the first Mass in the newly constructed building on the corner of Eighth and Depot Streets. The parish was established as a separate entity in 1955 and underwent a significant expansion in the early 1960s to accommodate its growing congregation. Today, under the pastoral leadership of Fr. Rogelio Rodriguez, Holy Cross offers daily and weekend Masses, with weekday services at 8:00 a.m. and weekend options including Saturday vigil and Sunday morning Masses. The parish maintains active ministries including faith formation, music and worship, and prayer chain support, welcoming both longtime parishioners and visitors into its faith community.
