About Barrington Presbyterian Church
Barrington Presbyterian Church is a small, family-oriented congregation founded in 1964 by an original group of 100 members. Located on a main street in Barrington, Rhode Island, the church features distinctive Japanese modern architecture arranged around a garden courtyard. Under the pastoral leadership of Rev. Patrick Notley, a graduate of San Francisco Theological Seminary, the congregation strives to proclaim the gospel, provide spiritual fellowship, and serve communities across the east side of Narragansett Bay and southeastern Massachusetts. The church maintains a long tradition of Christian education for children and adults, with Sunday worship at 10 a.m. followed by coffee fellowship on most Sundays. As a Presbyterian body, the church is committed to expressing faith in a secular world and meeting the great ends of the church through preaching, worship, spiritual care, and service to others.
