Portsmouth Friends Church is a historic Quaker meetinghouse located in Portsmouth, Rhode Island, originally built between 1699 and 1702, making it one of the oldest houses of worship in the United States. After reopening in 2020 following a period of closure, the church has resumed regular worship services and community ministry. The congregation welcomes all visitors to Sunday worship at 10:30 AM, as well as midweek prayer meetings and Bible studies throughout the week. Founded on the principles of freedom of religion and the Word of God, Portsmouth Friends Church is dedicated to connecting people to God, to each other, and to their community while serving Christ locally and globally.
