About Warrenton Presbyterian Church
Warrenton Presbyterian Church is a vibrant, welcoming congregation rooted in the heart of Old Town Warrenton, Virginia, with a rich history dating back to 1771 when Presbyterians first began worshiping in Fauquier County. The church has occupied its current building since 1855 and underwent significant expansion in 1999 with the addition of a new sanctuary and fellowship hall. As a servant community and proud member of the Presbyterian Church U.S.A. and the Shenandoah Presbytery, Warrenton Presbyterian welcomes people of all ages and backgrounds to join in ministry and fellowship. The congregation emphasizes worship as central to their faith life, offering Sunday services that gather, equip, and nourish the community while sending members out as ambassadors of God's love. Known for their engagement with the wider community, they value their presence on Main Street and seek meaningful ministry with other denominations and faith communities. Visitors are invited to experience their warm, Reformed tradition of worship and explore membership through classes designed to introduce church beliefs and community life.
