Hope Baptist Church is located on the Eastside of Anderson, South Carolina, and has been serving the community since 1989, when Pastor David Rickerd founded the church with a group of college students dedicated to witnessing and spreading the Gospel. The church is committed to exalting Jesus Christ, evangelizing the world, and edifying the saints through faithful God-honoring worship grounded in Scripture and empowered by the Holy Spirit. Hope Baptist offers multiple service times throughout the week and operates numerous ministries serving the local community, including programs for children and teens as well as a food ministry for those in need. Visitors are invited to experience the church's unified testimony and warm fellowship as the congregation seeks to demonstrate the love of Christ to one another and all who enter their doors.
