About Baptist Collegiate Ministry
Charleston Baptist Collegiate Ministry (BCM) is a campus ministry dedicated to helping students discover Jesus, grow in their faith, and live on mission throughout their college years and beyond. Located at the BCM Building on the College of Charleston campus, this ministry welcomes students of all backgrounds—whether exploring Christianity for the first time, coming from different faith traditions, or seeking meaningful community. BCM emphasizes intentional discipleship through weekly meetings, Bible studies, and mission opportunities, including trips and community engagement. The ministry creates space for students to ask questions, build genuine friendships, and learn what it means to follow Jesus during a formative season of life. With a focus on reaching the campus, engaging the local Charleston community, and sharing the hope of Christ with the nations, BCM serves as a welcoming community where students can belong while navigating college and beyond.
