Antioch Baptist Church of Columbia is a historic Baptist congregation founded in 1914 that has deep roots in the North Columbia community, with three generations of the Neal family having served in pastoral leadership. The church is committed to serving not only the local area but throughout South Carolina and beyond, offering a fellowship centered on worship, Bible study, and Christian service through various ministries including church schools, leadership classes, missionary societies, and musical groups. Located at 5715 Koon Road, Antioch operates as an independent educational and missionary Baptist church within the Wateree Baptist Association and maintains affiliations with the Baptist Educational and Missionary Convention of South Carolina and the Progressive and National Baptist Conventions of America. Under the current leadership of Reverend Byron A. Dixon, installed in October 2024, the church represents a new era focused on unity, love, and faith while honoring its rich traditions of family, growth, and service.
