About First Church of the Nazarene
First Church of the Nazarene in Columbia is a Nazarene congregation in the Saint Andrews community. The church began in 1934 on Tobacco Street in downtown Columbia under Rev. "Red" Kelly, moved to a brick church on Catawba Street in 1943, and relocated to its current area in 1968. Its current worship space was begun in 1993, with a gymnasium added after groundbreaking in 2006. The church offers programs for children and youth.
