Founded in 2012, the church has grown from a college ministry into a congregation of approximately 200 members with another 100 regular attenders. The church gathers on Sundays at 9 AM and 10:30 AM for worship services designed around building relationships, with coffee served and a welcoming atmosphere. Citylights emphasizes three core practices—bread (shared meals and life together), Word (Scripture meditation and expositional teaching), and Prayer—as the foundation of their faith community. The church is currently developing plans for a permanent home at their Mill Property on the Swamp Rabbit Trail while continuing services at their current location, and they offer various ministries including City Groups for geographic community building, children's programs, youth gatherings, and volunteer opportunities.
