First Calvary Baptist Church, originally called Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, was organized on October 23, 1886, with thirteen charter members who gathered at a brush arbor for worship and baptism. Located in Leesville, South Carolina, the church is rooted in a rich Baptist heritage spanning over a century.
