First Baptist Church of Lexington, located in Lexington, South Carolina, is a Baptist congregation founded in October 1990 with a mission dedicated to teaching biblical truths, loving God, and living for Him. The church began with outreach to over 1,200 unchurched families in the community and has grown to occupy a 46,000 square foot facility on 13 acres that includes a worship center, preschool, and children's ministry areas. The church emphasizes discipleship and building a strong church family while maintaining core values of being God-focused, Bible-centered, and multi-generational. First Baptist offers multiple worship experiences and extensive small group, youth, and children's ministries throughout the week. Visitors are welcomed at a Connection Point in the worship center lobby where the Connect team helps guests get acquainted with the various services and programs available.
