About Vedic Center
The Vedic Center of Greenville is a Hindu temple and spiritual home located in Mauldin, South Carolina, serving the Greenville–Spartanburg community since its inauguration in 1989. Founded by Indian immigrant families who sought a permanent place of worship and cultural practice, the center has grown to serve over 400 families through daily worship, traditional ceremonies, and educational programs. The temple offers daily darshan and aarti, as well as specialized pujas, yoga classes, Sanskrit instruction, and Bhagavad Gita study. Beyond religious services, the Vedic Center is active in community outreach, interfaith partnerships, and cultural preservation for Hindu families of all ages. Visitors of all backgrounds are welcomed to participate in the temple's spiritual life, whether seeking devotion, cultural connection, or simple curiosity.

Dress Code: Modest dress is customary; visitors often remove shoes before entering the sanctum. Service Format: Daily aarti (worship ceremony) occurs at 7:00 PM, with the temple open from 8:30 AM to 9:00 PM. Traditional pujas are performed throughout the week by qualified priests, and special seasonal festivals such as Diwali, Holi, and Rath Yatra are celebrated.
