About Trinity AME Church
Trinity AME Church operates as one congregation across two locations in Newberry, South Carolina: Trinity East at 1501 Hallbrook Drive and Trinity West at 650 Ermine Road. Led by Pastors Jay and Jennifer Kennedy since 2023, the church is grounded in foundational Christian beliefs centered on the authority of Scripture, the person of Jesus Christ, the work of the Holy Spirit, and the ordinances of communion and baptism. Beyond Sunday worship, Trinity serves its community through Trinity After School, offering a safe environment with Bible lessons, homework help, math tutoring, and daily snacks until 6 p.m., along with seasonal summer camp programming. The church emphasizes developing young minds, hearts, and souls, reflecting its mission to help families thrive while anchoring children in biblical truth and community care.
