About Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church
Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church, located at 815 Murrah Road in North Augusta, South Carolina, has served its community for over 114 years since its founding in 1911. The church was established by a dedicated group of Christian believers who were granted permission to organize a new congregation and received a donated acre of land from Frank and Julia Townes and Laura Bunch. Under the pastoral leadership of Reverend Arthur L. Kemp, who has served since 1994, the congregation moved into its new sanctuary in 2004 while maintaining its foundational mission of proclaiming God's salvation and winning lost souls through faith in Jesus Christ. The church welcomes visitors to experience its worship and grow in Christ alongside the church family through various ministries and fellowship opportunities.
