About Grant Hill Baptist Church
Grant Hill Baptist Church, located in Rembert, South Carolina, has served its community since 1863, when a group inspired by the Holy Spirit first gathered for worship. The church began humbly under a brush arbor before constructing its first log cabin building in 1873 on land donated by Scipio Grant, from whom the church took its name in 1887. Over the decades, the congregation has grown and adapted, erecting a new sanctuary in 1964 under Pastor L.W. Williams and expanding significantly in 2004 with a new facility across the highway. Today, Grant Hill offers Sunday School at 8:30 AM and morning worship at 9:00 AM, along with Bible study opportunities for adults on Wednesday evenings via Zoom and youth programs called KidVenture on Tuesday evenings. The church welcomes visitors to join its vibrant faith community and explore resources for spiritual growth through worship, study, and fellowship.
