About Ann Hope United Methodist Church
Ann Hope United Methodist Church, located in Seneca, South Carolina, has served the community since 1923, when a group of Methodists began meeting for Sunday school at the local YMCA. The present building was constructed and dedicated in 1928, originally called the Seneca Mill Church before being renamed Ann Hope Methodist Church in honor of the mill owner's daughters. The congregation has maintained its identity by ministering to families and residents of the former Goddard Brothers Mill Community. Ann Hope UMC is rooted in faith, growing in grace, and reaching in love, with a mission to create a bridge for sharing the Gospel and to serve as God's family to the families of the community. The church offers Sunday worship and provides community support through various ministries, including Wednesday evening dinners at 6 p.m.
