About Spartanburg Baptist College Ministry
Spartanburg Baptist College Ministry (BCM) is a welcoming community for college students from local institutions including Converse College, Spartanburg Community College, Spartanburg Methodist College, University of South Carolina Upstate, and Wofford College. As a ministry of the South Carolina Baptist Convention and the Spartanburg County Baptist Network, BCM provides city-wide weekly gatherings and small groups where students investigate the Bible together, grow in discipleship, and build community. The ministry is intentionally open to people of all denominational backgrounds and faiths, grounded in the belief that God created each person with purpose and immense value. Through worship, fellowship, and service opportunities throughout the semester, BCM seeks to help students deepen their relationship with Jesus and learn to love others as themselves while depending on the Holy Spirit.
