The church began as a mission outreach by nine local Baptist churches and held its first worship service in the current Fellowship Hall in May 1946, later expanding with an auditorium in the late 1950s and an education building in the early 1970s. Known for its commitment to displaying God's glory while pursuing the joy of its diverse congregation, Rosemont Baptist brings together people of all ages, cultures, and backgrounds united by their faith in Jesus Christ. The church has been remarkably stable, guided by only eight pastors throughout its history, reflecting what the congregation describes as God's grace to and through His people.
